In connection with the planned run during the “
Studfest 2026“, from 02:00 to 12:00 on June 14th, the traffic was restricted in the area of N74 of Chavchavadze Avenue, as well as on Rustaveli Avenue, in the road section in front of the National Palace of Youth.
During the event, from 09:30 to 12:00, the transport movement was gradually restricted in the road section from Chavchavadze Avenue N74 to 9 April Street and the streets crossing it.
Vehicles driving from Tamarashvili Avenue and
Tskneti Highway to Chavchavadze Avenue were able to bypass the restriction through Archil Mishvuladze, Ilo Mosashvili, and Nikoloz Berdzenishvili streets, while cars driving in the opposite direction – using Lado Kavsadze, Zakaria Paliashvili, kkm, and Archil Mishviladze streets.
Vehicles driving from Liberty Square were able to enter the restricted road section in front of the National Palace through the streets of Lado Gudiashvili, Revaz Tabukashvili, and Gia Chanturia, while cars driving in the opposite direction were able to reach Freedom Square through Gia Chanturi, the right bank of Mtkvri,
Nikoloz Baratashvili, and Alexander Pushkin.
Regarding public transport, buses and minibuses moving from Tskneti highway to the rest of the streets of Vake were temporarily shifted to the Saburtalo direction. Specifically, the transport that moves towards Baratashvili Street was connected from Heroes Square using the right bank of Mtkvi and will also move indirectly.
Buses and minibuses moving from
Ketevan Queen Avenue to Vaki used Mtkvari’s right beach, Heroes Square, and Saburtalo route to go towards Turtle Lake; Public transport from Gorgasli Street to Kote Abkhaz Street will be connected via Europa Square to Mtkvri’s Left Beach, and Baratashvili Bridge will reach Baratashvili Out on the street. Also, the transport on Tabakhmeli, Kojri, Kiketi, Tsavkisi, Shindisi, and Okrokani routes served passengers up to Amaleba Street N11.
In parallel with the running, the traffic on these road sections was gradually restored.
