The Rural Development Agency (RDA) of Georgia held an information meeting about the “State Program of Agro-Financing” in Mtskheta on June 30, 2026, Tuesday.
The informational meeting was attended by Zurab Gozalishvili, Deputy Commissioner of the State in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, Teimuraz Bekauri, representatives of local government and self-government of the municipalities of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, as well as farmers and entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, the participants were given detailed information about the objectives, financing conditions, and participation criteria of the new “State program of agro-financing”.
The prerequisite for participation in the state program of agro-financing is registration in the register of agricultural enterprises in the countryside. The mentioned service can be used both at the Central Office of the Rural Development Agency and at the Municipal Information and Consulting Centers.
The program will be operational from July 1, 2026, and includes the support of different areas of the agro-sector. State co-financing is determined up to 50% of the project’s cost, and the maximum financing for each project is 2 million GEL.
For agricultural cooperatives, highland settlements and projects implemented in villages near the dividing line, the amount of co-financing is 55%.
The goal of the “State Program of Agro-Equilibrium” is to promote the implementation of modern, effective and climate-adapted technologies in the agro-sector.
