Georgia: In the Dusheti municipality, general meetings with the Chargali village’s Residents were begun. The meetings are being conducted within the framework of the village support program to discuss future development plans.
In a recently concluded meeting, Mtskheta-Mtianeti State Trustee David Nozadze and party delegate Dimitri Khundadze, together with the leaders of Dusheti municipality – Mayor, Matsatsatso Narimanidze and the chairman of the city council, Kakhaber Chitauri, met with the people of the village Chargali.
The administration of Dusheti municipality announced to hold regular general meetings to select projects for state financing. The main agenda of these meetings is to discuss all aspects of the rural support program which will cover these selected projects for state financing.
All the members of the general public have been apprised of this general meeting through various communication channels. The information in this regard is also shared on the official Facebook page of the Dusheti municipality.
The government and the gathered society discussed both the current measures, as well as the planned infrastructure and social activities. In addition, the conversation was about the issue of distributing sasheshe and samasale merkan to the population for personal use, and other needs in the village at this stage.
In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the Rural Support Program on the generation of infrastructure projects planned for 2025. According to the joint decision of the villagers, the priority project proposal was the construction of a bridge crossing the river.
It should be noted that, as part of the Rural Support Program or Village Support Program, throughout Dusheti Municipality, the general meetings have already ended, but to meet the needs of the local population, the meetings will continue intensively in the future.
In addition, it should be noted that, within the framework of the Village support program, general consultation meetings are being held in all the municipalities of Georgia to improve the conditions of villages in Georgia. It is to be mentioned that the village support program aims to finance small infrastructure projects named as a priority by the locals.
