The administration of Dusheti municipality announced to hold regular general meeting to select projects for state financing. The main agenda of these meeting is to discuss all aspects of rural support program which will cover these selected project for state finacing.
All the members of general public has been apprised about this general meeting through various communication channels. The information in this regard is also shared on the official Facebook page of municipality.
The official Facebook page of municipality stated, “This is important announcement for the population of the municipality. In the settlements of Dusheti Municipality, general meetings of the settlements will be held. Meetings will be held to select projects to be financed from the Fund for Projects to be implemented in the Regions of Georgia within the framework of the Rural Support Program.”
Some important information about proposed projects was also shard on social media handles. The projects to be financed within the framework of the “Rural Support Program” are:
- Project to make arrangement about drinking water systems through wells, water pipelines, headworks, treatment plants, wells, etc.
- Irrigation systems projects
- Drainage systems
- Rivers and other bodies bank reinforcement works
- Roads and roadside embankments throughout municipality as well as sidewalks and other road infrastructure projects
- Bridges, grates, bridge culverts, crossings rehabilitation projects
- Outdoor lighting arrangement projects
- Improvement of the area surrounding the school
- Preschool institutions and relevant inventory arrangements
- Outpatient buildings
- Sports infrastructure, playground, playground equipment
- Squares, including children’s squares with appropriate equipment, as well as recreational spaces and restrooms with appropriate equipment’s
- Mini-hydroelectric power plants – appropriate rehabilitation/restoration projects
- Placement of appropriate signs, as well as signs indicating tourist sites in accordance with the names and addresses of geographical objects
- Fencing and improvement of cemeteries
- Projects for providing easy and all-time availability of public transport
The official of municipality requested all citizens to participate in the planned meetings, the schedule of meeting has been published according to the administrative units. They also urged them to share their innovative ideas with office bearers of municipality.
