Givi Mikanadze, the Chairman of the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament of Republic of Georgia as well as members of this committee took part in the opening ceremony of the newly built Chabukiani Kindergarten in Lagodekhi Municipality. This was opened to provide the best educational services to schoolchildren in the area.
On the occasion of the opening ceremony the participants of the event were congratulated by the committee members, Kakheti State Trustee Giorgi Aladashvili, Telavi-Akhmetis-Kvarli and Lagodekhi Majority MP Irakli Kadagishvili, Lagodekhi Municipality Mayor Jondo Mdivnishvili and representatives of the Sakrebulo.
Givi Mikanadze stated that “Construction/rehabilitation of kindergartens for little pupils and schools is underway in the regions of Georgia. These are being established to provide a suitable study environment for our future generation to receive an education that meets all the best standards and practices that exist in the world.”
He also said, “ Along with the governor the majority deputy and the leadership of the municipality we had the great and unique opportunity to open to the members of the committee a kindergarten built by the project implemented by the Municipal Development Fund which will be an important hub of pre-school education for the children of three villages”.
Additionally he said All the highest standards are observed in opening the garden. An approach focused on the progress of the next generation is the main priority for our government and we will fulfil this responsibility with full efforts.
It is worth mentioning that this kindergarten is designed for 100 children who will get world-class educational facilities.
The building of the kindergarten was fully decorated with ballons, flowers and other decorative materials. The classrooms of the schools were very spacious and well prepared there was also a provision for sports activity and for this purpose swings and slides were installed.
The chief guest of the occasion posed for the group photo with the children, who were all happy.Mayor Jondo Mdivnishvili said that more such kindergartens would be established in the municipality in the future as well. He said that the local administration, with the help of the central government vowed to provide world-class facilities to local students.
Speaking on the education sector, he said that every year the budget allocation for the education sector is expanding.
