Adigeni Municipality City Hall introduce new changes in social and health care programs

Adigeni: Adigeni Municipality City Hall has introduced a number of changes in social and health care programs. Under the new changes the existing financial aid has also been increased. 

As per the latest amendment above the age of 18 Physiotherapy and psychosocial rehabilitation will be financed for socially vulnerable persons up to 5000 GEL. It is to be added that Financing for outpatient services, stationery services and medical examinations for extremely poor and socially vulnerable persons will be implemented twice as per the new changes. 

The family whose member died and does not have his funeral costs will be provided assistance for the ritual event in the form of cash -300 (three hundred) GEL. Assistance for the funeral and ritual events of the homeless deceased will be given in cash – 300 (three hundred) GEL. In case of complete destruction of living space – assistance will be given in the amount of 15,000 (fifteen thousand) GEL.

Whersas In case of partial destruction of living space assistance will be given – in the amount of 10000 (ten thousand) GEL. A multi-child family that has four or more underage children will receive assistance from the local budget during the fiscal year of 400 (four hundred) GEL.

A newborn child registered in a settlement with Highland status will receive assistance from the local budget during the financial year in the amount of 250 GEL and a newborn registered in the administrative unit of the municipality without Highland status will get assistance from the local Budget during the financial year.

It is to be added that for Georgia’s territorial integrity families of soldiers killed in wars will receive 400 (four hundred) GEL in assistance from the local budget during the fiscal year (transition date). 

On the other hand the Persons with disabilities registered in the territory of Adigeni municipality and at the same time actually living in the territory of the municipality of Adigeni and persons with severe disabilities (Group I) will receive social assistance from the local budget in the amount of 300 (three hundred) GEL during the fiscal year. 

Similarly veterans of the Defense Forces (Group I) registered in the territory of Adigeni municipality and at the same time actually living with disabilities who have been diagnosed with disability status related to injury or illness sustained in the performance of military duties will receive social assistance from the local budget during the fiscal year of 300 (three hundred) GEL.

It is noteworthy that the interests of several beneficiaries were taken into consideration to make necessary changes in the program.The goal of the program is to provide maximum support to local people as well as socially vulnerable beneficiaries.
