Akhaltsikhe Municipality, Georgia: A traditional meeting was held with the staff and managers of the kindergartens of Akhaltsikhe Municipality on June 4, 2025, Thursday.
At the meeting, the Mayor of Akhaltsikhe Municipality Irakli Lazarashvili, Deputy State Commissioner of Samtskhe-Javakheti Sergi Mushkudiani, Chairman of the City Council David Lomidze, with other local self-government officials talked about projects and plans for preschool education in the municipality, thanked the representatives of kindergartens for their support For Rome and full support was given.
Marina Merabishvili, the director of the preschool institution, summarized the work she has done during the year with the audience and talked about the results achieved.
The meeting was attended by the deputies of the mayor Ilia Zardiashvili and Ruben Karapetiani, the deputy chairman of the City Council David Tabatadze and Hambartsum Baboyan, and the head of the cultural service of the City Hall Ketevan Mishvelidze.
During the event, 25-year-old employees of kindergartens were given thank-you signs from the preschool institution for their contribution to the long-term development and the next generation of the preschool institution, and memorable gifts from the Akhaltsikhe Municipality Hall.
At the meeting, Christina Lazarishvili, the manager of the Camilla Rehabilitation Center in Akhaltsikhe, focused on the fruitful cooperation of the rehabilitation center, Akhaltsighe Municipality Hall, and preschool institutions.
Within the framework of this cooperation, kindergarten staff was trained on the topic “Early Detection of Autism and Implementation of Effective Care“. Also, as part of the project, all kindergartens in the municipality received a set of special developmental toys as a gift.
The event is being held for the third year by the Cultural, Education, and Sports Service of Akhaltsikhe Municipality Hall and Preschool Institutions jointly with the International Day of Protection of Children. It aims to showcase and encourage the activities of kindergarten teachers and staff.
