The municipality administration of Akhaltsikhe have honoured the excellent students. The official of municipality has given award to 69 students.
The municipality while taking to their social media handles has shared this information. The official Facebook page of the municipality also shared glimpses of this event as well.
The official Facebook page of the municipality stated, “69 excellent students of Akhaltsikhe Municipality public schools were awarded portable computers.”
It also stated that, “Today, the successful students were awarded by the Chairman of the Akhaltsikhe Municipality Sakrebulo Davit Lomidze, the First Deputy Chairman of the Shakerful Davit Tabatadze, the Head of the Local Self-Government Relations Service Gocha Beridze and the Head of the Akhaltsikhe Educational Resource Centre Khatuna Khmaladze were awarded.”
On the other hand, the representatives of the local self-government and regional administration congratulated the students on their achievements. They have also wished them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and extended to them best wishes and wishes them success in the future.
This significant event was attended by students, teachers and parents of public schools. The program “My First Computer” is available to public school students who completed the basic level in the previous academic year and whose grade is 10 points without rounding.
It is also to be noted that this, Student Incentive Project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia is implemented annually and its goal is to increase student motivation. The representatives of the ministry said that these excellent students have made all of us proud. This is our responsibility to reward them with beautiful gifts and awards also.

The students who got award thanked the municipality. They termed this initiative of municipal authorities’ life changing event for them.
