The Akhaltsikhe municipality of Georgia have organised the “School sports Olympiad 2024”. The large number of school students from across the Municipality are participating in the event.
The representative of the Municipality has taken to social media handles and shares this information. They also added glimpses of the event on this social media page. The official Facebook page of Municipality stated, “School Sports Olympiad 2024-2025” Municipal Games are continuing.”
It further added that, “Pupils of public schools this time competed in funny starts. The winning teams were determined because of interesting and fun games.”It is worth to note that during the games the team of Persi Public School took the first place, the team of Akhaltsikhe No5 Public School took the second place and the third place was the team of Atskuri Public School.
The organisers of the event also honoured the winners. They also assured sportspersons that more such sports events will be held in future as well. The number of different sports were played on this occasion by sportspersons. There were individual games and some other group games were also there.
The sportspersons who participated in this event were very happy to be part of different activities of sports.The teams were dressed in different colours of sportswear in which they are looking so attractive. It is worth to note that key speaker and organisers of event also posed for photographs.
The winner of individual event took photos with guests. At the same time the winner teams posed for group photo with chief guest as well as the key speakers of the event. The social media users on the other hand also shred their views while reacting to social media posts of the Municipality.
Social media user appreciates initiative of Municipality. They have also lauded the decision of municipality to host such successful event also. The members of the teams that went to the prize place were awarded medals and seals from Akhaltsikhe Municipality Hall. The first-place team was also awarded with a trophy and will compete in regional games.
