Anastasia Gubanova grabs 9th place in individual competition at Olympic Games

European Championships gold and two silver medals winner Anastasia Gubanova received a rating of 138.22 points from judges in the free program and placed 11th, and in both programs she collected 209.99 points and finally took 9th place, which is the best result of Georgia in women’s singles.

Until now, the best results were Elene Gedvanishvili (Turin-2006) and Anastasia Gubanova (Beijing 2022).

USA representative Alyssa Liu won the championship, and silver and bronze medals were earned by Japanese Kaori Sakamoto and Ami Nakai.
