Batumi, Adjara: In a significant and impressive award distribution ceremony, Successful artists of the year were awarded in Batumi, Capiatp of Adjara, Georgia. The main award for the field of culture – “Ovation”was given to 20 artists this year for their exceptional contribution to the field of art and culture.
Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Adjara government, participated in the award distribution ceremony.
The head of the Adjara government speaking specifically on the occasion stated that “Culture is really the main pillar of all the societies across the globe without which no society can progress for a long time. Our main goal is to make sure the culture and art activities have maximum support from the perspective of globalisation, and that every talented artist has support from the state government. Our country Georgia is truly rich and unique in culture as well as talented artists. Therefore we have a worthy and special place on the world culture map. I would like to thank every artist for their hard work, dedication, and determination in their efforts and I also like to wish everyone success in the future”.
It is to be specifically mentioned that this impressive, historic awarding ceremony of successful artists in different nominations is being held for the second year. This ceremony is being organised by the Adjara Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
As cultural values play a avery important role in making the Next Year aware of its past culture, Adjara Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports have launched many initiatives to promote art and cultural activities.
Honouring the artist for their contribution to the field is also the effort of the Government in this direction. As per the information more art and cultural events have been planned to organised in the future.
On this occasion, the hall was full of audiences. Moreover many artists also mesmerised the audiences with their thrilling performances. The audience cheered and appreciated the performances of the artists with clapping, etc.
The winning artist thanked the representative of the local government for honouring them. The artist also vowed to contribute to the art and culture field with more enthusiasm in future. The audience appreciated the effort of the government and demanded that more and more such events should be held to motivate the young talent of the country to promote the art and culture of the country beyond the borders.
