The construction of the new Kindergarten, a significant development for community’s young learners, is progressing rapidly at the Airport highway 82. This two-story building will provide a comfortable learning environment for two hundred students of the area.
Notably, the foundation construction work has been completed, and now the construction of the upper portion of the building is underway. The building plans include a spacious yard with children’s attractions, park benches, and a green cover. A lighting system will also be installed for the safety and convenience of the children.
According to the information the school project will be completed at a total cost of four million 555 thousand GEL. Moreover the kindergarten construction work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
The project also includes rehabilitating the access road and embankment works near the garden. At this stage constructing 3 new kindergartens and rehabilitating 1 already existing kindergarten is underway in Batumi.
Furthermore the construction of 2 more kindergartens is planned by the end of the year, demonstrating the continuous efforts of the educational ministry to enhance the country’s educational infrastructure. These projects are being executed with financial assistance from the local budget and the central government, underlining their commitment to education.
Batumi City Hall shared this information on its official Facebook page. It also posted images of the proposed building, which look very attractive. The images of the government official who came to inspect the ongoing construction work were also shared on the Facebook page. They interacted with the construction company official and asked for the speedy completion of the work.
Meanwhile, the social media users appreciated the work and lauded the municipality’s efforts to provide better educational facilities for local students. Local people also urged the municipality representative to increase the school’s student capacity so that more students could benefit.
