Chardakhi and Pita Kanda villages of the Mtskheta Municipality all set to get the new kindergardens. These are parts of the hundreds of Kindergartens that are being constructed across the Country.
The construction works of kindergartens with modern standards are actively ongoing on full swings. It is to be specifically mentioned that the Georgian government is constructing many kindergartens to uplift the standards of education.
The Education Department and other officials regularly visit the site to supervise the construction work. Similarly, State Commissioner of Mtskheta-Mtianeti side David Nozadze and Mayor of Mtsketa Municipality Dimitri Zurabishvili visited there and got to know the progress of the projects.Â
They directed to speed up the work so that education facilities can be provided to students of the locality as early as possible.
It is to be noted that the Municipal Development Fund is being utilised to complete the works within the framework of the current program, which was launched by the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia.Â
According to the main and basic provisions of the program, the construction and rehabilitation of 885 kindergartens will be carried out across the whole Country. Among them, the construction of 9 new kindergartens and the rehabilitation of 14 kindergartens in Mtskheta-Mtianeti are being carried out.
As per the new construction plan, Buildings will be built and rehabilitated according to modern requirements. There will be indoor and outdoor spaces, recreation areas, communication and wet spots, as well as the nurseries will be fully adapted for those with special needs. The Students with special needs will find easy access to all the facilities of kindergarten with ease.
It is to be noted that the development of kindergarten infrastructure was planned according to the information and priorities provided by local governments.It is also noteworthy that in Pita Kanda near the kindergarten area construction works of the Square were carried out with the ultilisation of local budget.Â
Under the framework of this construction project, more than 330,000 GEL has been used, and children’s entertainment corners, chairs, lamps, decorative tiles, and trainers were installed. The space is also accessible to people with disabilities.
As per the information available in order to develop the region, the construction and rehabilitation of various types of infrastructure will continue in the four municipalities.Construction workers were placing the block to construct the wall. Some rooms have already been completed, but for others, the work is likely to be completed very soon.
The recreational Square was beautifully planned. There were slides and swings for children. There were bricked paved paths to have a walk. The Square also has Dustbins to keep the area clean and neat of the park.
The Square also has proper arrangements for lighting so that people can visit there in the evening time also. During the inspection the State Commissioner of Mtskheta-Mtianeti’s side, David Nozadze, and the Mayor of Mtsketa Municipality, Dimitri Zurabishvili, stated that the Georgian government would make the Education Infrastructure well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
They also encouraged the locals to avail these educational facilities. Meanwhile social media users also appreciated the effort of the Municipality to work for the betterment of educational facilities. They expressed their gratitude to the government for fulfilling the long-pending demand of the residents.
