Tbilisi, Georgia: A presentation of the book – “Sustainable MICE (Business) Tourism Management” was held on June 12, 2025, Thursday, in the conference hall named after Niko Nikoladze of the Caucasus International University.
Notably, the book was co-authored by Niko Nikolatze, the head of the Bachelor’s Program of Tourism, Associate Professor Lali Mikeladze and Associate Professor Nana Akhalaya.
The Caucasus International University (CIU) shared glimpses of the event on its Official Facebook page on June 13, 2025. The CIU also shared some details related to the event along with its photographs.
According to the information shared by the University, it should be noted that the authors of the book introduced the main issues discussed in the guidebook – the essence and importance of MICE tourism, innovations, and sustainability.
It was also mentioned that the manual is the first publication in Georgia, that deals with sustainable business tourism management. The authors also emphasized the book’s importance to students, as well as field specialists and professors.
The event was moderated by Ketevan Nanobashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology, who focused attention on the importance of this book and the experience of the authors.
At the end of the presentation, Rector Kakhaber Kordzaia and Head of Quality Assurance Service Marina Gedvanishvili provided positive assessments of the work done by the authors. They noted that the textbook will make a significant contribution not only to the academic life and educational process of the faculty but also to the entire University.
