Ozugeti, Georgia: The Construction work of the water supply system in Ozurgeti Municipality City Hall is in its active phase. The Mayor of Ozurgeti Avtandil Talakvadze visited the site and inspected the works on June 3, 2025, Tuesday.
The Ozurgeti Municipality City Hall posted glimpses of their visit on its Official Facebook page and also shared a small note about their visit to the construction site.
Along with the mayor, David Kvinikadze, Director of the United Water Supply Company, State Commissioner of Guria Giorgi Gurjumelidze, and Chairman of the City Council, David stayed to know the progress of water supply projects in the municipality.
Notably, the construction works of the water supply system of villages – Tskhemliskhidi, Dwabzu, and Mishidobauri are at the stage of completion.
The water supply network has been set up – 92560m, counting nodes, two main water dumps, a charloratory, two pumping stations, reservoir. Upon completion of the project, up to 3,800 beneficiaries will benefit from 24-hour uninterrupted water supply.
Optimization of Ozurgeti’s water supply system and construction of the water supply system of the red Beam and Naruji districts in the administrative unit of Lower Natani is actively underway, as well as the construction of 2 wells for Daba Ureki.
Water supply network -75 will be set up within the project. KM, counting nodes, four wells, three reservoirs, and four sachlorators, will be rehabilitated to the main water dumps. After the completion of the works, up to 19,050 beneficiaries will benefit from the 24-hour continuous water supply.
The Mayor of Ozurgeti Municipality City Hall met with the villagers and declared about the water supply projects. Within the framework of this meeting, he extends his heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Georgia, United Water Supply Company, and the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure for their unwavering support and patience in these important projects.
However, it should be noted that both projects are financed from the state budget and their total value is more than 57 million GEL.
