A court of law in Georgia has sentenced a person with rigorous punishment. He was guilty of attempted murder.

The accused was sentenced to 19 years in prison for the attempted murder of person who was foreign national under aggravating circumstance on the basis of the evidence which has been presented by the official of the prosecutor’s office.
The city court of law situated in the capital city of Tbilisi has fully accepted the evidence presented by the prosecution office of Georgia and found the accused guilty of attempted murder of a foreign citizen.
It is worth mentioning that the evidence submitted to the court at Tbilisi has confirmed that on the day of April 16, 2023, in one of the private residential houses in Tbilisi commited the crime . The accused person was also convicted in the past for attempted murder of a person. Now he has again stabbed the victim multiple times during the conflict which is never a minor issue, as a motive for revenge.
The accused after committing the crime, the accused fled the scene. As a result of timely medical assistance, the victim was saved.
It is to be noted that the law enforcement officers arrested the accused on April 25, 2023, based on the court’s decision. He was charged under Article 19,109, sub-paragraph “P” of the Criminal Code of Georgia (attempted murder more than once) and was imprisoned as a preventive measure. The Tbilisi City Court found the defendant guilty of the charge and sentenced him to 19 years in prison.
The representative of the prosecution office also said that the office is concerned to bring the accused person to justice. The representative of the prosecution office also said that in the past, the office has initiated many such efforts to make society crime free.
