Tbilisi:Â Davit Songhulashvili chairman of the sectoral economy and economic policy committee attended the interparliamentary conference on artificial intelligence in Brussels.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the conference included four different sessions on artificial intelligence to discuss the various aspects of the latest trends in artificial intelligence.
The second session was attended by Davit Songhulashvili. This second session was about the effects of artificial intelligence and teaching in the age of artificial intelligence.
The conference lasted for two days and the representatives of the national parliaments of the EU ( European Union) member states and the European Parliament took part in it.
It should be added that the conference’s purpose was to discuss the possibilities of connecting artificial intelligence with industries such as creativity and culture, education, healthcare, public administration, etc.
Salome Kurasbediani, a member of the European Integration Committee, also participated in the conference.
Artificial intelligence has gained popularity in recent times. Some people have also expressed concern over its misuse. It was also to be added that artificial intelligence has caused fears that it may cost the jobs of millions of people across the globe.
The attendees also discussed the positive aspects of artificial intelligence. Many people have said that artificial intelligence has the potential to dramatically change the lives of needy people if it is regulated and properly implemented in daily life.
To prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence, the attendees support the regulation of AI (artificial intelligence)Across the globe.
Speaking on the occasion Davit Songhulashvili, chairman of the sectoral economy and economic policy committee, also apprised the attendee about the various measures taken by Georgia. He said that governmenrt is taking measurs the misuse of the artifical intelligence. He also said that this was an important meeting and was very productive as well.
