Henrik Janson, who is the host of the 13th WPALF forum, stressed the significance of bringing together the leaders of protected areas across the world on a single platform to tackle multiple environmental challenges.
All the participants underlined the role of these protected areas in preserving biodiversity. The protected areas can also be helpful for mitigating the negative effects of rising temperatures and global warming. The experts’ discussions usually help to advance the efforts for the conservation of natural resources at the global level.
