This is the most critical decision, which will have a severe economic effect and increase the economy’s growth by 0.2 percentage points. On average, about 350 million GEL will be added to Georgia’s economy in the coming years.

Also, the PM instructed the Ministry of Economy to provide additional direct flights and fixed, low fares to attend football matches in Germany. It’s all important for the fans and the football team. The more Georgian fans attend football matches, the better it is for the football team’s success.

In addition, the government has decided to facilitate the optimal acquisition of renewable energy resources. This approach will be very profitable for the energy sector and help the projects’ competitiveness.

In addition, the Government of Georgia decided that all individuals, including entrepreneurs, will fully write off the recognized tax debt arising and unpaid before January 1, 2021, including the taxes imposed on them. After the bill’s adoption, 145 thousand individuals will write off 590 million GEL tax debt.

The Prime Minister said, “When rebooting the “Foreign Influence Transparency” bill, transparency in democratic communities has no alternative. The bill runs from beginning to end and provides for the annual financial declaration of NGOs and relevant media outlets.”

“They prove that transparency is Russian, transparency is European. Last year, they misled a significant part of society, turning values upside down. However, for the second time, I’m sure they won’t be able to do it anymore,” the PM Irakli Kobakhidze added.
