Project presented with participation of CIU wins

Georgia: The project presented by the Caucasus International University (CIU) won the Competitive Innovation Foundation (CIF) grant competition.

Competitive Innovation Foundation (CIF) grant competition, which is carried out by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Affairs of Georgia with the support of the World Bank, in partnership with Caucasus International University and Graci University of Austria the TSU project: “Creating a digital database of micromorphological drugs and its use in the learning process of pathological anatomy PhD based on innovative modules and components of artificial intelligence To create the program “(Head professor – Rima Beriashvili) won.

Professor Zviad Gabisonia, the Advisor to the Chancellor of the Caucasus International University, USAID’s expert in artificial intelligence law and policy, is included as an expert in the ethical and legal issues of artificial intelligence in the project.

This project will be implemented within the framework of a consortium, which includes Tbilisi State Medical University, Caucasus International University, and Austria’s Grace Medical University.

The innovation of the project lies in the fact that, for the first time in Georgia, digital preparations will be carried out for the learning process, digital preparations will be interactively transformed, and new algorithms for student assessment and self-assessment will be developed.

Within the project’s framework, the Institute of Pathology Diagnostics and Research of Grace Medical University will develop a bilateral doctoral program in pathology using artificial intelligence components.

The database, morphometry tools, and information processing algorithms created by the implementation of the project will be available and constantly enriched with clinical and research data, making the learning process even more exciting and helping students to engage in research projects Sac.
