UG University in Tbilisi to host Smartuni contest, know details

The University of Georgia, Tbilisi is all set to host the “SmartUni” contest on 28 May 2024. The students of all the Georgian universities can participate in this contest.

Tbilisi: The University of Georgia, Tbilisi is all set to host the “SmartUni” contest on 28 May 2024. The students of all the Georgian universities can participate in this contest to show their creativity and expertise in their respective fields.

The contest will be held under the framework of the STEM Festival. The participants will have to form a team with interested candidates to compete in the contest. Each team will have a maximum of four members. The students and teams who recorded the win will get the option to present their project at the forthcoming STEM festival.

The jury at the STEM festival will evaluate their project to reward them. The location of the contest is auditorium number 519 at the campus of the university.  The topic of the contest is “SmartUni-Technology Innovation of Education”. There will also be monetary rewards for the winning teams. The first prize will have the amount of 1000 GEL. On the other hand, the holder of the second and third places will get the reward amount of 800 GEL and 500 GEL respectively.

 

The University of Georgia while taking to their social media handle shared the information and motivated the students to participate in maximum numbers. The post added that “Smart Uni invites student teams to present innovative solutions that will contribute to the improvement of the learning process, the university environment and introduce smart technologies.”

 

Notably the priority will be given to the projects that have been which have the maximum ability to turn into reality and can be implemented easily. There is also a link on the official social media page that can be used to register for participation.

The event STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) allows students to show knowledge about global and critical issues. The university students also expressed their happiness over the contest. As per the students, this will be a great opportunity for the students to get rewarded for their creativity.
