Minster Aleksandre Tsuladze and others attend a thematic camp in Ikalto village

Aleksandre Tsuladze, Georgia's first deputy minister of education, science, and youth along with deputy ministers Noadar Papukashvili and Gela Geladze attended the ongoing thematic camps in the village of Ikalto in the Kakheti region.

Aleksandre Tsuladze, Georgia’s first deputy minister of education, science, and youth, attended the ongoing thematic camps in the village of Ikalto in the Kakheti region. He was accompanied by deputy ministers Noadar Papukashvili and Gela Geladze.

At the thematic camo, which was also attended by a large number of students  they held a dedicated discussion with the students on youth-supporting initiatives and various topical issues. The ministry representatives also heard the valuable views and ideas of the camp participants regarding the improvement of the youth policy in the country.

 

It is to be noted that the head of the Youth Agency Vakhtang Baakashvili  also took part in the meeting. He   shared his views with the key guests of the events. After the meeting with the present students, historian Nukri Shoshiashvili and political scientist Luka Ekhvaia held an information session with young people on important topics.

 

The topics of discussion include the preservation of national values, globalization, and changing international order.  It should be noted that this year, the thematic camp in Ikalto received the third batch of students. The important project will last until the end of June and this year  it will host 8 streams of young people, totaling 500 students.

This should be noted  that thematic camps are being held for the first time in 2024 . Moreover these camps are being organised with efforts of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and with the support of the organization of the Youth Agency.

The main goal of these kinds of camps is to promote the explore the hidden potential of students and strengthen their democratic and patriotic values  and promote a healthy lifestyle so that they can contribute to the development of the country.

In these thematic camps  young people have the opportunity to engage in different discussions on global and local challenges. Along with various educational and entertainment activities  public lectures on important topics were held for students.
