Although the country is still reporting a huge number of domestic violence and crimes against women, but many women have overcome all the problems of their lives for a successful life. Eliso Rukhadze is one among them.
It is to be specifically mentioned that Eliso is a lawyer by profession and a women’s rights expert at Rights Georgia. Rights Georgia is a major organization with a 25-year history of protecting the rights of Georgian citizens especially women.
Notably Eliso had decided at a young age to dedicate her professional life to building a gender-equal society. While going in this direction and as an attorney she has provided legal assistance to thousands of women facing domestic violence, gender discrimination and other human rights issues throughout the country as well.
While sharing her experience Eliso Rukhadze stated “The true measure of success for me is the life of survivors and what we offer people to free themselves from violence and continue their lives”. Eliso Rukhadze added, “Gender equality is not only a moral value but also a cornerstone of Georgia’s progress”.
She is also working with another major organisation, USAID (United States Aid Agency). USAID is an international organization that assists many projects in Georgia.
The USAID, while recognising Eliso Rukhadze’s decision, stated that “ it is proud to partner with Eliso and the organization Rights Georgia” to support Georgia’s security, prosperity, democracy and the European way”.
USAID also took to its social media handles and appreciated the selefless services of Eliso Rukhadze. The social media user, reacting to the USAID’s Facebook post extended the best wishes to her.
The American International School Progress Tbilisi commented, “ Good luck Eliso.” Similarly, Babi Tskhovrebashvili wrote in the comment section, “Elyso.” Many other social media users also extended their best wishes for her bright career as well.
