The firefighters of the Emergency Management Service of the Ministry of Interior continually working to improve its efficiency. The services employees together with the police forces and all other relevant agencies continue to work in the emergency mode.
As per the agency so far 6 dislocation sites have been created in Guria region. The headquarters of the Emergency Management Service are located at the dislocation sites, where representatives of the defence, police and medical services are present along with firefighters and rescue workers.
All relevant special equipment is mobilized on site. The mentioned headquarters will receive notifications and respond accordingly to problems caused by the heavy snowfall, including planning rescue operations and visiting citizens in need of medical assistance.
Firefighters, together with police forces and representatives of other agencies, helped several citizens in difficult relief conditions. So far, the agency is working round the clock to also improve its coordination with other agencies as well.
It is also to be noted the firefighter services used to organise many seminar and special workshops for enhancing the efficiency of its staff. The role of employees of fire fighter services has become very crucial in last few years.
They played a significant role in the management of natural disasters and emergencies situations as well in many other situations which required immediate attention for safety if lives and property as well.
The firefighter also played very important role in controlling the sudden forest fires incidents also. Today again the officials of firefighter’s services from ministry in internal affairs apprised the employees their role to tackle the difficult emergency as well.

As per the employees the government must allow more funds for the improvement of overall performances of fire department. They also advised the services to get latest machinery as well.
