The Center for the Coordination of Emergency Situations and Emergency Response has been awarded the International Quality Management Standard – ISO 9001:2015 – certificate.
Notably, the Center received the certificate as a result of an audit conducted by the international Austrian company, T Serv Austria.
The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons, Labor, Health, and Social Welfare of Georgia shared the glimpses of the award ceremony on its official Facebook Page on August 20, 2025, Wednesday. The Ministry also shared a small note about the event along with its photographs.
The awarding of a certificate confirms that at the centre, the quality management system is fully in compliance with international standards, and the quality improvement is a continuous process.
The Georgian Minister of Health, Mikheil Sarjveladze, congratulated the staff of the Center for the success and noted that the ISO 9001:2015 certificate is not just a formal document – it shows that the Center’s work is in full compliance with international standards.
The Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze also highlighted their achievements at the event and wished them luck in their future endeavors. He emphasized the importance of continuing their efforts to achieve even greater success.
According to the representative of the international company T, V Austria, the ISO 9001:2015 certificate means that the Center fulfills all the requirements and constantly provides high-quality and safe medical services to patients, resulting in the level of satisfaction constantly increasing.
The event also coincided with the International Day of Emergency Medical Transport, which is celebrated on August 20. Mikheil Sarjveladze noted that the center has many dedicated and distinguished employees, whose daily work serves to save patients’ lives. The minister thanked the center’s drivers and medical staff who ensure safe and timely transport of patients.
