The officials and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emergency management service were hosted in a civil security training session. The session was held at the head office of the Union of Georgian Airports.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the main purpose of the meeting was to raise the attendee’s awareness on emergency situations so that they could respond to any emergency situations quickly.
On this occasion the service representatives provided the attendees with information about the types of emergency situations , their prevention, evacuation procedures, and the activities of the fire-rescue forces. They were also encouraged to assist the emergency department employees in case of any emergency.
It is worth noting that after the completion of the theoretical training  a simulation session of an emergency situation was organized. Moreover under the framework of this simulation situation the employees of the Fire and Rescue Department demonstrated all the necessary components of action during an urban fire according to a predetermined scenario.
Moreover the practical training included fire extinguishing methods using various fire extinguishing measures. They also provided information on evacuation exercises for office workers and injured persons. In the event  the employees of the fire-rescue forces department, the employees of the patrol police department, and the emergency coordination and emergency assistance center were involved to have the information about the activites of  ministry   as well.
The emergency management service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has introduced services for fire and civil safety measures  which will be used and implemented by various organizations.  Notably information on emergency management services is necessary. It should also be added that many times  due to the delayed response of the emergency department, big tragedies occur and these incident  become out of the people’s control  and cost many precious human lives.
The meeting attendees said that this was a great training session  and they learned a lot of new things about tackling emergency situations.
