Mtskheta: Concert held to celebrate christmas and New Year at a cultural centre

On December 27, 2023 a Christmas and New Year concert was held in the Natakhtri Culture House of the Multifunctional Center of Culture and Education of Mtskheta Municipality. A large number of people as well as pupils, attend the event.

It is to be specifically mentioned that on this occasion Pupils-youth presented to the attending community with a diverse program. They read poems and performed dance and musical numbers, which was appreciated by everyone.

The students were beautifully dressed on the occasion. Most of the children were present there with the parents or with some family members. They use many instruments to make the musical performance more attractive.

Some schoolchildren who arrived there to give their performance were accompanied by their teachers and other staff members from their respective schools.

The hall was full of attendees who came here in large numbers. The stage was also decorated with the use of Christmas trees, lights and other decorative materials etc.

There were many solo performances along with the dual performances given by little pupils. As Christmas is seen as a big attraction for children, some of them were also dressed as Santa Claus.

The competition was also held for the beautiful dresses. Students themself acted as the stage manager and managed the stage very beautifully. They were very happy while performing the group dance and group music performance.

Students also gave speeches on the importance of Christmas and why it is celebrated in December. They also threw light on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

It is to be noted that at the end of the event, the Deputy Director of the Multifunctional Center of Culture and Education of Mtskheta Municipality Tengo Khutsishvili, congratulated all the participants and employees of the House of Culture on behalf of the Center on the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Eve and gave a gift of Christmas sweets.

The children thanks the organiser of the event for gifts and sweets to them.
