Maka Botchorishvili, the foreign minister while slammed imposition of sanctions. She said the baseless sanction which are being imposed against Georgian individuals are not acceptable at any cost.
Moreover, there should be any legal ground before proceeding in this direction underlined, foreign minister. According to her if this tradition is not stopped immediately it will make bilateral relations also disturbs.
She said we have noticed in past few years that Brussels had been imposing sanctions without any base as well as without any legal ground. It is worth to note that since the protests in Georgian over the adoption of foreign agents’ law official and political leaders of Georgia is being banned from entry in countries of European Union.
It is also to be noted that the foreign agent’s law was implemented by Georgian government amid wide scale protests and opposition. The Georgian party members as well as all those who have any kind of association with ruling party of Georgia that is Georgian Dream.
According to foreign minister this trend of imposing ban against the Georgian leaders increased since last four-year time period. Foreign Minister further added that when it comes to sanction this can be taken for granted as it sends negative impression about any country across the world.
While speaking further about this challenge she said, we are sure there are some anti-Georgian elements who want to harm Georgian at large scale. We have very shocked to see that Brussels is playing tactics to degrade Georgia at global level, this was a responsibility of European Union to safeguard the interest of all the members as well as non-members countries.
Although European Union is failed to protect interest of all countries there are some members of the European Union who want to prevent such act against our country.
Notably a day ago foreign minister of Hungary opposed the stand of European Union against Georgia. He called one sided action against the Georgia as unfair and political motivated.
