LUX Audience Award 2023: Ratings open till 12 June

Europe: In a recent Facebook post, the European Youth Event announced the Lux Audience Award 2023. The audience has been called on to rate the movies. The deadline for rating is 12 June 2023. Audiences can rate the movies from 5 stars implying an excellent movie, to one star, i.e. poor movie.

Europe: In a recent Facebook post, the European Youth Event announced the Lux Audience Award 2023. The audience has been called on to rate the movies. The deadline for rating is 12 June 2023. Audiences can rate the movies from 5 stars implying an excellent movie, to one star, i.e. poor movie. 

Five movies that have been nominated for LUX Audience Award are as follows:

1-BURNING DAYS  is a Drama/Thriller movie revolving around Emre, a young prosecutor in the town of Yaniklar, getting pulled into a political conflict on his first murder investigation. Written and Directed by Emin Alpar, movie stars Ekin Koç, Selahattin Pasali and Hatice Aslan in lead roles. It has been rated 8.2/10 by the users.

 2-CLOSE  is a coming-of-age Drama film directed by Lukas Dhont, revolving around an intense friendship between two thirteen-year-old boys, Leo and Remi suddenly getting disrupted. Starring Eden Dambrine, Gustav de Waele, Emilie Dequenne and Lea Drucker, the movie has achieved 8/10 ratings.

 3-TRIANGLE OF SADNESS  written and directed by Ruben Östlund , the movie is a satirical black comedy, starring Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, Dolly de Leon, Zlatko Burić, Henri Dorsin, Vick Berlin, and Woody Harrelson in lead roles, with the story revolving around drowning of an ultra-rich cruise, leaving behind survivors including a fashion model. The movie was the lost movie Charlbi Dean shot before her death in August 2022 and has been rated 7.5/10.

4-WILL-O’-THE-WISP  from the director, João Pedro Rodrigues is a romantic musical comedy revolving around the prince of Portugal whose passion for the environment leads him to become a fireman, where he falls in love with a colleague. Rated 6.5/10, the movie stars Mauro Costa and André Cabral in the lead.

 5-ALCARRAS , directed by Carla Simón stars Josep Abad, Jordi Pujol Dolcet and Anna Otin in the lead. The movie centres around the family of peach farmers and their life events and has been rated 7.1/10.

The audience, who will be rating these films stands a chance to win a trip to attend the award ceremony. Moreover, they can get a chance to meet the most-renowned directors at the high-scale event.
