Sagarejo: A general meeting was held between municipality representatives and the general public to discuss the various objectives under the village support program.
Village support programs are being implemented in different municipalities throughout the country. During the meeting with the common population Municipal officials got the opportunity to know the problems and challenges being faced by the public.
Similarly the public can also share their views and suggestions with the officials. They can also explain in detail the problem at the ground level and what are the priority areas that need immediate attention as well.
Sagarejo municipality also posted on its social media page that “Within the framework of the village support program in Sagarejo municipality meetings with the population have begun!”.
It further stated that “Today Sagarejo Municipality Mayor Avtandil Gulikashvili alongwith with the First Deputy Emzar Kuchuashvili and the Chairman of the Municipal Council Alexi Gilashvili within the framework of the Village Support Program in order to highlight priorities . The population of Kochbani, Gombori and Ujarma villages shares the innovative ideas with municipality representative”.
Additionally, “Locals thanked Avtandil Gulikashvili for recent projects and wished him success. Within the framework of the rural support program, 668 000 GEL has been allocated for Sagarejo Municipality. During the meeting, the mayor of the municipality talked to the locals in dialogue mode to determine the needs”.
Mayor instructed the relevant services to resolve the problems, which as the mayor mentioned during the conversation will be personally controlled and monitored. Locals discussed priority directions for villages and through joint discussions selected projects that best met the population’s needs.
During the meeting, both sides agreed that education and health services need priority attention to upgrade their infrastructure.
The mayor thanked the population for showing great interest in this significant meeting. He further appreciated the attendee for extending valuable suggestions to authorities.
