The Kakheti which is known as the wine region of Georgia is always on the priority list of the local as well as international tourists. An international traveler Grace Moran Billington, a resident of Qatar termed the region as “heaven on earth” during her recent visit here.
While sharing her experience on social media handles, she added “The days spent at the Kakheti region with my husband and son were one of the exceptional days of life”.
According to her, during the first day of visit she went to experience an old tradition of bread making while kneaded the dough with hands. She explained her experience by stating, the transformation of dough into a loaf was amazing with this old art of bread making.
Billington’s next stop at the Kakheti was the Bodbe Monastery which is the place to enter the world of peace as it provides tranquillity. To get relief from the day-long tiredness the place is best to calm and relax by adding a spiritual hint.
Another place they visited was Signagi (the city of love) about which Grace Moran Billington expressed, “She lost in the romantic charm of the city. The colorful decorated facades of houses tell the tales of love.”
While talking about the wines that the region is famous for, she stated that a “visit to Kakheti region is incomplete without the experience of wines, along with my husband and son also I enjoyed different flavors.”
According to her, it is not just the wine lover who can enjoy at the Kakheti rather everyone passionate about the old traditions, cultures, and heritage must visit the place.
She shared several pictures on her Facebook page and clicked at different locations. The social media user while reacting to her post commented to congratulate her for the happy spending of quality time at Kakheti.
