Tbilisi, Georgia:Â The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia, together with Irakli Natroshvili, rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, visited Anaklia Youth camp, which hosts TSU students for the seventh time this year. The official working visit was held on Monday, August 18, 2025.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the visit on its official Facebook Page on Monday. The Ministry also shared a small note about the visit, along with its photographs.
According to the information shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that Minister Zviad Gabisonia met with the students and talked about ongoing and planned projects at the Medical University.
According to the Deputy Minister, the youth sector is the most essential part of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth’s unified policy; therefore, several necessary steps will be taken in this direction. Additionally, the students were introduced to these steps, which were necessary to support the implementation of youth initiatives.
The conversation covered topics such as using artificial intelligence in education, prospects for the development of research institutes, promoting disadvantaged professions in medicine, and more.
The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, and the youth were allowed to get comprehensive information about interesting and important issues. At the end of the event, the Deputy Minister awarded the winning teams in the football tournament.
The Anaklia Youth Camp hosts the fourth stream of young people. This time, students of Tbilisi State Medical University are in the camp. The camp program spans five days and allows young people to participate in educational, sports, and cognitive activities, as well as meetings.
The aim of the camp: increase access to active recreation for young people, promote social integration of young people, promote the manifestation of their physical and intellectual potential, promote a healthy lifestyle, promote the establishment of national and European values, and encourage patriotic values.
About 200 students of Tbilisi State Medical University were present in the Anaklia Youth Camp. In 2025, Anaklia Youth Camp will receive 3000 young people in total.
The meeting with the students was also attended by the First Deputy of the State Envoy of Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti, Nino Viblian, and Deputy Head of the SP Youth Agency, Giorgi Urushadze.
