Georgia Education Minister visits Vocational Colleges

The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the Minister’s visit on its official Facebook Page on August 26, 2026, Wednesday. The Georgian Education Ministry also shared a small note about the tour along with its glimpses.

At the meeting, the director of the college, Temur Asatiani, provided the minister with detailed information about the activities of the institutions and introduced them to the current needs.

As Givi Mikanadze noted, the development of vocational education is one of the top priorities, and the Ministry will continue to implement a number of important initiatives to support the strengthening of colleges in the future.

According to the details provided by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, it should be noted that during the meeting, representatives of the college had the opportunity to get answers to questions of interest and voice their views.

The mentioned branches implement vocational programs in the fields of information technology, engineering, agriculture and business administration, and more than 60 vocational students are enrolled.

The Minister was accompanied at the college by Mtskheta-Mtianeti State Trustee Levan Zautashvili, Mtskheta-Mtianeti delegate Dimitri Khundadze, Member of the Parliament of Georgia Aluda Ghudushauri, Kazbegi Mayor Koba Geladze, Kazbegi City Council Chairman Zurab Zilinashvili, Tianeti Mayor Levan Tsiklauri, and Tianeti City Council Chairman Nikoloz Didebashvili.

The Minister also highlighted the importance of creating better learning opportunities for vocational students and ensuring that colleges have the necessary resources and facilities to provide quality education.
