Georgia: The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, presented the employees of the Revenue Service with a new head, Irakli Beraia. The meeting held at the Ministry of Finance was attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance and Heads of Structural Units of the Revenue Service.

The Minister of Finance thanked the former head of the service, Levan Kakava, for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors. As Lasha Khutsishvili noted, the reforms implemented during the leadership of Levan Kakava increased the quality of both control and services.
At the meeting, Lasha Khutsishvili spoke about the Revenue Service activities and the importance of achieving the goals set out in the Agency’s 2025-2030 strategy and noted that the new leader is meeting a team of highly experienced professionals.
He expressed hope that under the new head, the measures planned for tax and customs administration, as well as supporting a fair and transparent business environment will continue effectively.
The new head of the institution thanked the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance for the confidence shown. As Irakli Beraya said, several significant reforms have been implemented in recent years, including digital transformation of the agency, service development, and other areas.
As he noted, he is ready, together with the staff of the agency, to continue working on the successful implementation of strategic directions that are more effective and modern public services for citizens.
At the meeting, former Head of Revenue Service, Levan Kakava thanked the Minister of Finance for his support during the reform process and also wished Irakli Beraya success in his new position.
