Tbilisi: The first Republican festival of choreographic ensembles, “Khomli-2023”, was held on May 6, 2023, at the “Green Theater in the Georgian city of Tsageri. The festival events started with great pomp and a fair with the march of dancers dressed in national costumes. The events featured live music, from the centre of Cager to the green amphitheater, which was really one of the primary source of attraction for the spectators of the event .
The event held at the “Green Theater” was a highly celebrated and beautiful choreographic concert in which 310 dancers, and choreographic ensembles from different cities of Georgia took part.
Notably, Lechkhumi was visited by the various choreographers, who once again thanked Zurab Besarion and Temur Chanxeliani, the successful choreographers who were the organizers of this evening. The Racha-Lechkhum-Lower Svaneti Southern Administration and Cager Municipality also played an active role in supporting these choreographers in the successful organization and execution of the event.
 The newly elected mayor – Levan Zalkaliani, greeted the present public and thanked the organizers Zurab, Besarion, and Temur Chanxeliani as well as the administration for their efforts in popularization of Lechkhumi.Â
As Zalkaliani noted, the event will surely make Lechkhumi well recognized city and popular among the Georgian citizens and the choreographic ensembles. The administration thanked the organizers and the participants of the event as well. Â
 The event was attended by Racha-Lechkhum-Lower Svaneti’s First Deputy Trustee – Kristina Kobakhidze, Acting Mayor of Cageri Municipality Aluda Tutisan, Deputy Revaz Akhvlediani, Chairman of the City Council Chabuki Chabukiani, Deputy Marika Kopaliani, Lechkhumi community, numerous guests and numerous interested spectators from all over Georgia.
