The Poti Public School N5 has won the recently held cognitive-entertainment marathon. These events are being launched nationwide to raise students’ awareness about the importance of Georgia’s European integration.
According to the information under the framework of the project “European Union for Georgia” a cognitive-entertainment marathon has been launched in all regions of the country. This is an Intellectual game that was held on the topic of Europe and the EU ( European Union).
The game has different sections of the question for the students on the topics of “What?” Where to? When is it? “. The students had to answer these questions related to general knowledge about Georgia’s relationship with the European Union.
It is also to be noted that the game was led by the famous Intellect Club player Lasha Kiladze. More than 14 teams from public and private schools in our city participated in this contest and completed it to win the title.
It is also to be added that from Poti Public School N5 school students played in the team “Ilielians”: Nino Gujabidze – XI class, Megi Kucia – XIa class, Saba Jobava – Xb class, Giorgi Kintiraia – XIIa class, Lasha Arveladze – XIIa grade, Tornike Murghulia – XIIA class participated in the game and demonstrated the extraordinary skill of their mental ability as well.
Poti Public School N5 players won first place with the best result. They won this title by giving all the correct answers to 12 questions asked in the first round.
After the school students’ success, the management congratulated the winner’s students. The School representative said, “We are proud to be named after the great European Georgian Ilia Chavchavadze. Congratulations to the school and players for this victory!”.
The event organiser further expressed hopes that its completion will benefit the student community in many ways and that they will understand deeply the relation of Georgia with the European Union.
