The Repair works of an underground passage is going on in swing at Heroes Square . At present the process is complete at some point and will be fully completed at the end of April.
It is to be specifically mentioned that all the fresh work of tunnel painting, lighting, new skirting, railing, replaced damaged staircase steps and parapet tiles are being done. The total length of the underground passage is 610 meters, and the area is – 3,030 sq.m. m.
David Pachulia the Director of “Tbilservice Group” got acquainted with the ongoing work process during his visit to site.
While inspecting the construction work David Pachulia said “The pace of repair works in the underground passage of Heroes Square is active and will be completed soon. For earlier completion and due to safety standards, we have to partially restrict the movement of people in areas where the crossing is not completely done. We extremely apologize to the citizens for the delay the work will be finished as soon as possible”.
The workers of the construction company were busy at the work site. The electrical work was also being executed for the proper lighting inside the underground passage.The width of the Underpass is very wide for the smooth movement of the people as well.
The construction company has also made arrangements for the safety and security of the people. For security and prevention of vandalism facts, video cameras are installed in every tunnel of the underground passage and 24-hour monitoring is provided.
It is to be added that the walls of the underpass have also been decorated with paintings and beautiful graffiti as well. The stairs also have a wide width for travelers. The underpass has the proper system for the drainage of water. The walls also have a flexboard with instructions and safety rules for the users of the underpass.
