The employees of the Personal Data Protection Service have launched a 4-day training course. This is the course for data protection officers as well as for the representatives of the public sector and law enforcement agencies across the country.
It is to be noted that this  20-hour lecture course was attended by 75 participants. At the same time, the course took place in two streams and covered issues that were directly focused on the public sector and law enforcement bodies.
The new guidelines will come from the June one. There is a provision to appoint the protection officer at the public institutions under the provision of the new law on the public protection service.
A significant number of people attended the course to learn the details about the new law on personal data protection as well. There was also a presentation for the attendees to apprise them about the various aspects associated with data protection. The presentation also covers the points of the new law on personal data protection as well.
Attendees noted down the important  points  discussed  by the  key speakers and representatives of the data protection services.  The key speaker of the course speaking on the issue said that this is a crucial time for the whole world as the protection of data has become a big global challenge.
They stressed that despite the strict legal framework the anti-social elements always try to steal personal information to  use  for  personal  interests.  The participants asked their queries which were addressed by the experts. Their main concern was what initiative could be taken at the personal level to keep the data safe.
The discussion for cooperation at regional and international levels among the different agencies was also held. It was agreed that bilateral as well as multilateral cooperation can play an effective role in data protection.
