Tbilisi: The Ministry of Defence of Georgia continues to accept Georgian citizens aged 18 to 35 years in contract military service. Citizens will go through the following steps when getting a contract job:
• Registration;
• Medical check-up;
• Basic combat training course (BCT – 2 months).
 Recruits will receive a salary in the amount of 500 GEL per month during the BCT course (deposited).
From the day of enrollment in the initial combat training course, the military will be provided with food, accommodation, the highest quality uniform of NATO standards, military equipment, free medical services, and social and legal protection.
The minimum paid salary of Rigiti is 1177 Gel, which increases depending on rank, position and military experience.
After the end of the first contract, the military will receive 5000 GEL as a one-time bonus. After the end of the next 2-year contract, they will receive 3000 GEL as a bonus and 8000 GEL for a 4-year contract.
The military will have the opportunity to learn a foreign language, master the profession and get qualified in different courses abroad.
For military members and their family members, it is provided to co-financing studies in Georgian-authorized higher universities, and semester scholarships for higher academic achievements in accredited bachelor and master programs In the amount of 750 GEL.
