Notably, from March 6-9, at ITB Berlin, Georgia will be presented with its own stand, which includes an adventure area. The National Tourism Agency is cooperating in this direction to support and ensure a better representation of Georgia’s tourist potential.

With the support of USAID, the ITB Berlin 2023 exhibition will promote the attendance of mountain guides, Georgian tourism associations and leading tour operators, who will introduce visitors and companies to the best opportunities and potential of summer and winter adventure tourism in the adventure space through thematic presentations and meetings.

The presentations and meetings will be attended by over 100 international bloggers, journalists and representatives of tourism and audience from about 180 countries of the world.

About Georgia receiving the host country status from ITB, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili stated that This was not an ordinary decision, i.e. Georgia did not have to get host status one by one, but this is the result of a reliable and reliable partnership with “ITB Berlin” and the international tourist community.

In general, the progress that exists in Georgia in the direction of tourism was very interesting and in the end, the most decisive factor, which stopped attention on Georgia, was probably the most original, creative and interesting offer, as our competing countries were quite distinguished in both financial resources and ambitions.”
