Budget preparing team of Rustavi Municipality , Georgia submitted the draft budget for the year 2024. Before the presentation of this draft, many consultations with the general public were held in different parts. This year, the budget will witness an increase of twenty-five million GEL. Moreover, the basic parameters for the initial budget program for the year 2024 were defined by the 112 753 324 GEL.
While commenting on the draft budget, Nino Latasabidze stated that “ the new pace of Rustavi development will be greater than the previous year in 2024, the basis of this optimism is given by the support of government and the city hall team who work hard for the creation of budget”.
Notably, the Rustavi Municipality is going to focus on new social programs, internal infrastructure, housing facilities and municipal services reforms. The budget has increased the amount for the overall development of the city.
This time, the team of the Rustavi city hall emphasised that the priorities of the Rustavi Municipality have been increased many times to provide world-class civics facilities to the citizens.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the Mayor, Nino Latsabidze, held many budget discussions with more than seven hundred representatives of the housing companies and the council of civil advisers in the last few days.
A few days ago, the Mayor took to her social media handles and announced that “we are going through the last details of the budget with which we should act in the year 2024.”
During these public meetings regarding the budget, the Mayor introduced to the public the main priorities, programs and projects that will be mentioned in the final budget. One of the public meetings was also attended by the Rustavi city council faction “Georgian Dream” and many other representatives of the Rustavi Municipality.
During these public meetings, many people also gave many valuable suggestions for the better implementation of provisions of the budget.
