The famous Etalon Championship has been recently concluded in Martvili Municipality. A large number of players from twenty-one administrative units participated in this event. Martvili Municipality Mayor Tornike Janashi attended the event along with many other dignitaries.
On the occasion, Each participating team consisted of 5 participants which further included three local pupils and two representatives of the administrative unit. It is to be specifically mentioned that among the oldest participants – 75-year-old Anatol Chachua, and the youngest contestant was 12-year-old Saba Zhvania, also participated in the event.
It is to be noted that the winner of the competition was the Nagvazao team. The Nagvazao team won the competition with 100 points. At the same time, the Second place was won by the Vedidkar team with 95 points, and the third place was won by the Doshake team with 94 points.
As far as the price amount and award are concerned, the first-place team was awarded the title of “2023 Year Winner – Golden Benchmark Team”, the second-place winner “Silver Benchmark Team”, and the third-place winner – “Bronze Benchmark Team”. The winning teams were also awarded with prizes from the Martvili Museum of Science.
The competition was attended by Martvili Municipality Mayor Tornike Janashi along with Deputy Mayor Givi Eliava, Deputy Chairman of the City Council Koba Darjania, Head of Educational Resource Center Maka Gulordava, and other representatives of local government and population.
The hall was full of attendees of the event who appreciated the performances of the performers. Before the beginning of the event, there was a ceremonial prayer attended by all the players and attendees, as well as the chief guest of the event.
