Tbilisi: The national centre for development of education quality of Georgia have signed an agreement with COGNIA. The COGNIA is organisation bases in United States of America which provides recognition to general education programs being implemented in Georgia.
The organisation has been working in Georgia for a long time. The organisation is working to uplift the standard of quality education throughout Georgia with implementation of multiple innovative strategies as well.
While taking to social media handles, National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement shred latest information about this significant development.
The official Facebook page of National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement stated, “A cooperation agreement has been signed between the National Centre for the Development of Educational Quality and the international organization COGNIA of the United States of America, which provides for the recognition of general education programs implemented in the territory of Georgia. The organisation used to provide recognition as per the American International Accreditation Protocol.”
The social media post of National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement also stated, COGNIA’s goal is to ensure implementation of the provision of international general education programs in Georgia.
To achieve this goal, COGNIA has created and is implementing general education programs recognized abroad, which include all three levels of general education provided for by Georgian legislation.
It is worth to note that the qualification document of diploma issued because of completing the COGNIA program will be equated with a full general education certificate in the territory of Georgia.
Moreover, a person with the specified document will be provided with the opportunity to continue his studies at higher educational institutions of Georgia.
It is noteworthy that the signatories to the agreement operate with common principles and values, which include universal access to education, continuous development of the quality of education, equality and unwavering protection of the rights of the school community.
On this occasion both sides also expressed hopes that in future more such efforts will be taken to strengthen the education sector of country.
