The score was opened in the 10th minute with Otar Kiteishvili’s goal, and in the 33rd minute, Giorgi Mikautadze increased the Georgian team’s advantage. The first half ended with the Crusaders’ victory 2:0.

In the second half of the match, in the 66th minute, the hosts were able to reduce the score with Stevan Jovetich’s goal, but Budu Zivzivadze, who entered the field in the 84th minute, restored his double-ball advantage.

It is remembered that after defeating Greece in the final of the European Championship Qualifying Stage at the “Dinamo Arena”, the Georgian national team won the right to compete in the final “Euro 2024” stage for the first time in history.

The team held a training meeting for the European Championship in Austria. The team trained by Willi Sanioli will play its first match in Group F against Turkey on June 18, 2024 face the Czech Republic on June 22, 2024 and face Portugal on June 26, 2024.

“Euro 2024” will be hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14.
