Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, visited Rustavi’s 7th and 17th public schools, where he personally inspected the ongoing infrastructural works and the current situation, keeping the public well-informed and involved.
Both schools underwent complete rehabilitation through the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.
Along with the minister, the ten communities of Rustavi and Gargabani Majoritarian MP Irakli Shatakishvili, the member of the Georgian Parliament Aleksandre Dalakishvili, and the mayor of Rustavi city Nino Latsabidze inspected the school infrastructure.
Giorgi Amilakhvari also interacted with students and teachers and discussed the new vision and plans for integrating vocational education in schools. Professional education has been introduced at the initiative of the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari, to increase students’ access to school.
Rustavi 7th Public School has 965 pupils. Within the scope of the project, science and computer laboratories, resource room, doctor’s office, library, canteen, recreational areas and sports infrastructure were set up in parallel with the learning spaces in the school.
The school is adapted for people with disabilities. It has security systems and all the appropriate training resources, inventory, and equipment. The project cost is more than 5 500 000 GEL.
Regarding Rustavi’s 17th Public School, which has 920 pupils, the building was rehabilitated. Equip the yard and school with all the appropriate educational resources, inventory, and equipment.
Public school No. 17 in Rustavi is an educational institution that provides primary and complete secondary education for children and adolescents. The school is known for its attention to the quality of teaching and the comprehensive development of students.
The school is fully adapted for people with disabilities and has heating and safety systems. It is also equipped with essential resources, heating, and a security system. The project’s cost is up to 6,000 GEL.
