Solomon Pavliashvili, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Sachkhere visited the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture.
He was accompanied by Mayor of Sachkhere, Levan Ivanashvili, and Director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture Irakli Guledani and announced to boost food research work.

The official Facebook page of state laboratory of agriculture stated, “It is planned to strengthen research in the direction of food diagnostics at the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory of the State Laboratory of Agriculture with assistance from local and central government.”
The facebook post also stated, “The working meeting held at the Sachkhere Regional Laboratory was attended by Solomon Pavliashvili, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Sachkhere Mayor Levan Ivanashvili and Director of the State Laboratory of Agriculture Irakli Guledani.”
On this occasion of the meeting held in Sachkhere along with current issues in the laboratory, the laboratory’s capabilities were discussed. The guests viewed the international-level equipment available in the laboratory.
The minister and mayor said that this it’s time to strengthen laboratory services at the regional level. The existence of a strong laboratory directly contributes to the production of healthy products.
The State Laboratory Network of Agriculture with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture actively continues to develop regional laboratories and provide international-level research methods to the local population,” said Solomon Pavliashvili during his speech at the laboratory.
The meeting held at the laboratory along with others was also attended by Gaga Darbaidze, Chairman of the Sachkhere Municipality Council, Mukhran Shamatava, Deputy Head of the National Food Agency and representatives of the State Agricultural Laboratory.
The Minister further underlined that this is very crucial time and we need immediate efforts for ensuring the food security of nation. Minister at the same time said, we need steps for safe food security.
