Applicatons from interested women residents of the Guria region for participation in a civil education camp have been invited . The camp will be organized under the project “Green Guria.” It will be held from July 1 to July 10, 2024, at the Green Center of Bulachauri.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the project is being implemented with the active support of the European Union. “Green Guria – Support for Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Sustainable Green Growth,” also has the support of CENN, Young Pedagogues’ Union, Institute of Democracy, and Keda and Guria Local Action Groups (LAGs). The project was created to provide the maximum opportunity for women to establish themself in the academic, social, family, and career fields.
At the same time, the project aims to support women in the Guria region in overcoming economic challenges and improving their living conditions. It is worth mentioning that the event participants will get the opportunity to attend thematic lectures and develop projects. These lectures and development projects aim to identify and solve problems within the municipality.
The selected and successful projects will later receive funding, enabling them to implement these projects in their respective municipalities. According to the information women aged 18 to 55 living in Guria who are interested and motivated to actively work on solving socio-economic and environmental problems at the local level can participate in the event.
The NGO Institute of Democracy shared the information on its social media pages. On this occasion it also provided a link to fill out the registration form for participation in the event. The last application date is June 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
During registration an applicant must have an active email address, as information will be sent to the selected participants of the program at the email address only mentioned in the application forms.
