The GWP company responsible for the water supply is sincerely trying to ensure the water supply in all Rustavi spaces. On June 14 work will be done on Meskhishvili Street in Rustavi.
The GWP posted information about the proposed sites on its official Facebook page in this regard. As per the information, under the framework of the rehabilitation of the water supply network on Meskhishvili Street, the water supply network up to 400 meters long has already been completely renovated.
Moreover, 9 units of Eurostandard lock-adjusting hooks and 4 units of key wells have been installed. The company has invested a total of 240,000 in these projects so far. It is to be specifically mentioned that to commission the updated section of the water supply network the GWP technical teams will start the work tomorrow June 14, at 15:00 o’clock and will perform the work in an intensive mode so that it can be completed within the stipulated time.
As per the information, stopping the water supply for a short time is necessary to complete the rehablistaio work in these areas. So due to this the water supply will be restricted from tomorrow, June 14th, 15th to 09:00 am on June 15th.
The areas in Rustavi city that will be covered under the project include Meskhishvili Street and exits, Todria Street and Creeks, 14th micro district, Friendship Avenue, Leonidze, Kldiashvili, and Leselidze streets, as well as the Leselidze creek part.
Notably Georgian Water and Power apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience for the time being to complete the construction work. The construction company engaged heavy earthmoving machines to complete the work as soon as possible. The JCB machines were digging small, deep ditches to install the underground pipelines.
Some people raised questions about the project’s delay, to which the company commented that they are doing their best so that people won’t suffer due to any delay in the construction work.
