Georgia: The village support program at the Khashuri municipality is now in operation and numerous projects are being carried out under the village support program in the municipality. The program will see the completion of numerous projects.
The meetings which were being conducted with the public, under the framework of the village support program continued to discuss future development plans in Khashuri Municipality.
In a recently concluded meeting, Head of the Infrastructure Development Service of Khashuri Municipality Hall Giorgi Papiashvili, Chairman of the City Council Nino Liparteliani, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Levan Gamrekeli, Chairman of the Committee of Procedural Affairs and Ethics Maka Granidze met with the residents of Osiauri, Akhalsofli, Narujeba and Guda.
The citizens and the municipality’s leaders jointly discussed priority problems and proposed their solutions. They have also discussed many other issues that needed to be solved in the Municipality.
It is noteworthy that the following projects have been named by locals as part of the “Village Support program“: the layout of a square and kid-friendly attractions in Upper Osiauri. Tennis courts in Lower Osiauri. In Akhalsofeli, a pedestrian bridge to the source will be built, and the current square will be fenced. In Narujis, the light is outdoors, and the road bends in Ghuda.
It is worth mentioning that, for the successful implementation of the programs, an amount of 904,000 GEL was allocated for the task of different improvement programs in the Municipality.
It should also be noted that, in Khashuri Municipality, the consultative meetings with the population will continue until February 21. The selected projects will be presented to the Khashuri Municipality Council for approval, and the preparation of the project documentation will begin.
