The mayor of Khulo Municipality, Vakhtang Beridze, got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a new, modern-standard kindergarten in the village of Adjara.
Along with the mayor of Khulo Municipality, the Khulo delegates to the High Council of Adjara, Minuri Paksadze, and the representatives of local self-government were also present there.
The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara shared glimpses of the gathering in which the new kindergarten project was discussed on its official Facebook Page on August 7, 2026, Friday. A small note about the project was also posted along with the glimpses of the gathering.
A kindergarten equipped with modern infrastructure will be built within the project. The building will have bedrooms, playrooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, and other functional spaces required for the full-time upbringing and care of children.
The project also includes yard facilities, which will create a safe, comfortable and adapted environment for children. At this stage, the interior and exterior spaces of the building are underway. The kindergarten is designed for 30 children and will be fully adapted for people with special needs.
At the same time, the arrangement of the administrative center of the village Didachari is also actively underway. Within the scope of the project, a memorial for those who died in the Second World War will be built, a spring will be equipped, a wall of support will be built, paving will be laid, and a modern outdoor lighting system will be installed.
This year, Khulo Municipality will also set up Riketi and Agara administrative centers, which will contribute to the development of infrastructure in villages and to creating a more comfortable, safe, and well-equipped environment for the population.
